10 Ancient Chinese Secrets to relieve stress, renew energy, and fulfill your most cherished destiny - by Randine Lewis, The Way of the Fertile Soul

We are all an expression of ‘that which exists under Heaven’, and therefore worthy of life, vitality, and love, simply through being a part of nature. Much emotional and physical disharmony, stress and pointless agonising, comes from resisting our natural selves. At any stage of life a woman can wake up to her habitual patterns of self expression and take the pathway home to her original nature. It is never too late.

As Laozi says:

Can you focus qi into such softness

You’re a newborn again?

Can you be female, opening and closing Heaven’s gate?

Give birth and nurture….  Without possessing’

The energy of Water relates to the area below the navel, the sacred ‘Field of Essence’ containing the uterus and ovaries, the potency of the life force, and the foundation of the body’s yin / yang.   This relates to the Kidney channel system in Chinese medicine, the first point of which is on the sole of the foot – Yongquan or Bubbling Spring.

This point connects us to the Earth, and to the infinite energies bubbling up from our deep roots. When we feel inadequate or fearful, if we can breath deeply and quietly we can draw sustenance up through our own Bubbling Spring, up our inner thighs, through the  powerful cauldron of the belly and uterus, to restore our body, heart and mind.

When this channel is running strongly and smoothly, it enhances our feelings of self worth and enables good boundaries, leading to a life of greater authenticity. By nurturing the strong, deep, dark root of our being the Bubbling Spring grows into a fountain of unlimited strength and gentleness.

Much love, Jen ♡
